Eschewing the more conservative title of CEO and President (after all, how boring!), Jane Hodges Young is instead the
Unleashed Alpha Communicator of Labrador Communications.
With more than 26 years experience in public relations with some of the nation's largest corporations — all
leaders in their respective industries — Jane's unbridled enthusiasm and savvy perspective are her most important
assets in developing effective public relations and communications programs for clients of all sizes in a variety of
business fields, including non-profit organizations.
A native of Cape Girardeau, MO, and a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Jane worked six years
in product promotion and public relations at Hallmark Cards, Inc., in Kansas City. For more than 17 years, she
developed public relations and public policy programs for AT&T in Missouri, Kansas, Texas and California. Before
forming Labrador Communications in 2004, Jane was director of marketing and public relations for Sonoma-Cutrer
Vineyards, owned by Brown-Forman.
Jane is the proud mother of an adult daughter and three Black Labrador Retrievers, who are the inspiration for Labrador
Communications.
